Instead of waiting for a disease process to be diagnosed, thermography sees potential disease-causing inflammation in its earliest stages so you can make proactive changes to your health.
Using a medical-grade infrared camera, temperature variations on the skin are mapped to reveal inflammation, vascular irregularities, and physiological changes. Where there is inflammation, increased blood flow, or abnormal cellular activity, a corresponding heat signature appears at the skin’s surface. A Certified Clinical Thermographer (CCT) captures these patterns and interprets them against established physiological norms.
Thermography identifies physiological patterns that warrant further investigation. It is a tool for proactive awareness, not a replacement for clinical diagnosis.

Call your local R+R to schedule. Our team will review the pre-appointment protocols with you and send all required questionnaires. You'll receive a confirmation call 24 hours before your appointment to verify protocol compliance.
You'll change into a gown and allow your body's temperature to adjust to the room temperature. This acclimation period is essential for accurate imaging. Your CCT will review your medical history for approximately 15 minutes.
Your CCT captures your thermal images using a medical-grade, high-definition infrared camera. The process is completely painless, non-contact, and involves no radiation. You simply stand or sit in various positions as directed.
All images are sent to a specially trained and certified thermography expert for professional analysis. About one week later, you’ll meet with one of our practitioners to review your images and report, discuss what your findings mean, and receive printed copies of everything.
