Dr. Rainey is a double board-certified integrative pediatrician with a passion for personalized and relationship-based medicine. He believes in a whole-child approach to wellness, combining conventional medicine when needed with functional, integrative, root-cause strategies that support long-term health. He values spending time with families to provide personalized, integrative care and create meaningful, lasting relationships.
Dr. Rainey has extensive experience as a pediatrician, including general and hospital-based pediatrics, caring for children with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. His clinical focus and research interests include gut health, nutrition, asthma, ADHD, eczema, constipation, autoimmune disease, breastfeeding and newborn medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, and Williams Syndrome, a condition close to his heart as his oldest daughter has the syndrome.
In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Rainey also offers a concierge membership for families seeking a more individualized, relationship-based approach to their children’s care. This membership allows Dr. Rainey to spend more time with his patients, providing support and personalized care plans. Families that may benefit from this care include those with autoimmune conditions, endocrine disorders, neurological conditions, severe or chronic illnesses, and anyone seeking a more individualized approach to their healthcare.
Dr. Rainey has pursued extensive advanced training in integrative medicine through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he is completing his fellowship. He is a Fort Worth native, earning his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He has also held teaching roles at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Dr. Rainey is married to his wife, Pilar, and has four energetic children. Outside of medicine, he enjoys refereeing basketball, woodworking, classical music, making balloon animals, camping, road trips, and spending time in the kitchen with his family.
Patient Demographics: Dr. Rainey is currently accepting all pediatric patients from newborns through adolescents age 18.
Taylor, Nurse Ashley, NP Emmaline, Dr Rainey are incredible. Thank you so much for taking excellent care of my daughter. We always feel welcome and heard. Couldn't ask for a more personable care team.
Dr. Rainey is so incredibly knowledgeable! He has the best bedside manner. He spent time with us before our baby was born to make sure we knew we would be taken care of, that is service and a heart of gold. We have always loved Restore + Revive, but now have a whole new love for their pediatrics side!
We love coming to Dr. Rainey, and more importantly so does our 1 year old! Everyone here is so welcoming and does an amazing job educating from a functional perspective! Such a refreshing experience, and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to trust them with our baby’s health!
I wouldn't choose anywhere else for my family's functional medicine care. Dr. Rainey and Emmaline are so personable and I really feel like they care about my kids. They have been incredibly helpful in setting them up for success for a healthy life from day one. Bonus is that our whole family can be seen here. My husband and I see Dabney. It has become a home away from home for us!
