Restore + Revive is an established functional medicine and wellness therapy practice expanding to Charleston, SC. We’re hiring board-certified physicians with a strong background in Functional Medicine to bring our approach to care to this new location. You’ll be supported by our Founder and experienced team, and you’ll play a key role in making sure Charleston patients receive the same root-cause, whole-person care that defines Restore + Revive.

What You’ll Do
- Patient care: Lead new patient, lab review, and wellness visits, and build individualized, root-cause treatment plans for complex, multi-system cases
- Diagnostics: Order and interpret conventional and specialty labs (e.g., Cyrex, Vibrant, RGCC) and communicate results promptly
- Prescribing and safety: Prescribe appropriately, complete therapy clearances and standing orders, and screen for contraindications
- Documentation: Chart in EMR on time, obtain informed consent, and uphold HIPAA standards.
- Clinical leadership: Serve as a resource for nurses, NPs/PAs, nutrition, and bodywork teams, and help clinical protocols and new services
How We Practice Medicine
We practice functional medicine, which means looking for the root cause of a patient’s symptoms instead of only managing them. That starts with time. Our appointments are long enough to really listen to patients, hear their full story, and understand how their health, history, and lifestyle connect. We test thoughtfully, ordering advanced labs when they will guide treatment and not by default. Care is a team effort: our physicians work closely with our nurses, NPs/PAs, nutrition, and bodywork teams so every patient has a coordinated plan and a consistent experience.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted South Carolina license (or eligibility) and active DEA registration
- Board certification in internal, family, or integrative medicine, or another primary care specialty
- Experience or formal training in Functional Medicine
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Preferred
- IFMCP, A4M/ABAARM, or integrative medicine board certification
- Extensive experience managing complex chronic illness
- Strong background in nutrition and lifestyle medicine
- Interest in integrative oncology support alongside patients’ oncology teams
